Tecumseh, MI – (May 2, 2024) – Uniloy, Inc., a global leader in blow molding machines, mold technology, OEM parts, and expert service, is pleased to announce the acquisition of certain FGH Systems’ shuttle mold and technical service assets and people.
FGH has been Uniloy’s blow molding shuttle machine sales, molds, and service partner for 30 years and will continue, with an expanded role, to represent Uniloy’s complete product line of blow molding machines, molds, and services.
FGH’s shuttle mold design and manufacturing assets will integrate into Uniloy’s existing Fremont, Ohio, and Tecumseh, Michigan, facilities, which manufacture reciprocating, wheel, industrial, and shuttle molds. Uniloy has been investing heavily in these shops over the last few years, adding new state-of-the-art, five-axis machining centers and equipment.
Equipment from FGH’s shuttle tech center will be moved to Uniloy’s Tecumseh tech center, including three (3) Uniloy shuttle lab machines (all-electric and multi-layer COEX machines) and supporting process equipment. These machines will complement Uniloy’s two (2) reciprocating and two (2) injection blow lab machines. Uniloy’s tech center will now offer even more capabilities with expanded product development, sampling, process development, and training for all its blow molding machine platforms.
“Welcoming FGH into the Uniloy family will have extremely positive impacts on both of our companies, as well as enhance the offerings and services we provide our customers,” said Gary W. Riley, Sr., CEO of Uniloy. “We look forward to expanding upon our long-time partnership with FGH and bringing our two companies together to form an even stronger, industry-leading blow molding company.”
Eric Hohmann, President of FGH Systems, said, “The last few years under Uniloy’s new ownership and leadership, along with their team’s efforts, have been impressive. Uniloy has made commitments and investments in new technology, machine improvements, service, spare parts, molds, tooling, tech center, and its people. No other blow molding machine manufacturer offers such a diverse blow molding machine product line, with turnkey mold packages and services. With Uniloy’s two (2) mold manufacturing sites, a technical lab, after sales, and service, the integration of FGH into Uniloy will offer even more capabilities than ever for our customers.”
